The reincarnated version of PUBG Mobile, Battlegrounds Mobile India, could finally be on its way to India after a ban last September. And this was confirmed by South Korean company Karfton, which took over editorial work in India from Chinese company Tencent after the ban following anti-China sentiments in India last year.
And now that a new game by the title of Battlegrounds Mobile India is ready for release, it seems that we are getting more and more information about how much original game it is retaining.
PUBG Mobile Sanhok Map | Battlegrounds Mobile India Teases Sanhok Map
The most recent social media promotion for Battlegrounds Mobile India shows a very familiar sight to PUBG Mobile players. The image appears to show a location called Ban Tai from the PUBG Mobile Sanhok map. This was the first small map to be introduced in the game and it has vast jungles and is a group of three islands.
In our previous report, we discussed the guesswork that the game could launch in June. The new theory comes from the Battlegrounds Mobile India teaser, which shows a level 3 helmet with a ring of light around it.
This image is reminiscent of a solar eclipse with the moon blocking the sun and forming what is known as a diamond ring. The level three helmet here is playing with the object blocking the light source.
People are now assuming that this image could reference the game’s release date, which could be June 10, which is the date of the Annular Solar Eclipse. But we have to mention that there is no evidence or hint from the office or the game being officially registered to expect a release in this window. Silhouettes are a very common part of teaser campaigns.
But on the bright side of things, given that Krafton has revealed the new logo and name for the game while also renewing its social media presence, it could very well be on track to launch the game soon.
So a game release on June 10, which is about a month away, doesn’t seem too unrealistic.
